This allowed all 6 Sites to have access to head office and allow clients to join the Domain.• Maintained systems through Group Policies, including printer rollouts and Drive Mapping to limit physical IT Staff Requirements. • Implemented Manage Engine products for Helpdesk and Desktop Management. I used Desktop Management software to keep Software and Windows up to date. This also included Flash, Java, Silverlight, and Office 2010• Created Policies and Procedures to assist in managing users and equipment. I created User Creation forms and Mobile equipment request forms.• Implemented Offsite backup with Storage Craft to assist in Disaster Recovery in case of emergency. I tested and restored backups. • Provided desktop support for Windows 7 and Mac OSx, using Myob and Office 2010.• Provided Technical Support for Accommodation Systems which included Vams, RMS, and Starfleet. • Was involved in the Implementation of POS system called Bepoz. I implemented a 3rd workstation as a server, which allowed minimal down time while demoting and promoting the two new servers at the remote site. This allowed the job to be completed 3 days ahead of schedule.• Migrated servers from 2003 to 2008r2, Including Active Directories with File and print server functionality.• Administered Exchange 2003 then migrated all users to exchange 2010. I Implemented DAG Groups and setup servers at the two main locations, with separate Mailbox Databases for the main sites. I created a round robin setup to equally distribute incoming emails to both servers.• Assisted in the migration of Physical Machines To Virtual Machines On VM Ware Vsphere.• Implemented Terminal Service Web Gateway 2008 so that external staff could access our network from external Machine. I also setup Remote App for users to access customized software.• Installed new Forefront TMG 2010 Server to monitor and Cache users internet activity.• Gained experience with Cisco VOIP Phone Solutions. Including Deploying New phones and Phone Configuration changes through Web Interface.• Gained experience with VLANs. Pilbara Tafe has 3 VLans for staff, student and phones.• Supported Polycom Video Conferencing systems that use ISDN Services.• Assisted in the Rollout of new MFD’s and assisted in the daily operation of them.
