The project is continuing to improve the quality of life in rural Rwanda by developing a purely mechanical roof tile press and clay mixer to make the process of building roof tiles less arduous, faster, and with a higher quality end result. The project directly impacted my leadership, design, organization, strength of materials, mechanism design, SOLIDWORKS, and machining capabilities. I traveled to Nyange in September of 2015 to implement the Tile Press and Clay Mixer.
