As Project manager I served as the lead from fundraising, design, and logistics aspects for our project in Nyange, Rwanda. The project is continuing to improve the quality of life in rural Rwanda by developing a purely mechanical roof tile press and clay mixer to make the process of building roof tiles less arduous, faster, and with a higher quality end result. The project directly impacted my leadership, design, organization, strength of materials, mechanism design, SOLIDWORKS, and machining capabilities. I traveled to Nyange in September of 2015 to implement the Tile Press and Clay Mixer.

As a summer intern I had various responsibilities in the mechanical engineering department. I had my own projects and assisted others when needed. My projects included but were not limited to:-Manufacturing Documentation and design for scaling procedures-Adaptations of current vehicles to accommodate the update system-ICD Drawing updates-Coolant modeling
