David Tepper rejoins AccuVal-LiquiTec as a business development manager, responsible for the Western region of the United States. His primary responsibilities will include helping lending institutions and the private equity community to understand and recognize opportunities and risks associated with lending to and investing in companies in more than 100 industry segments. With more than 20 years of experience in the valuation, banking and financial management industries, Tepper offers a deep understanding of the secured lending marketplace. This enables him to help companies better understand the value of assets and to proactively guide them toward the best business solutions. Specializing in meeting the valuation needs of lenders, private equity groups, Fortune 1000 companies, attorneys and accounting firms in large and complex financial engagements, Tepper is adept at managing various financial, taxation, accounting and economic challenges that affect the valuation of tangible assets, intangible assets, securities, transaction structures and real estate. Prior to rejoining AccuVal, Tepper spearheaded business development of valuation products on the West coast for one of the world’s largest asset recovery firms serving major corporations and government entities. He has also held various positions in finance, investment management and transaction consulting.Tepper has successfully completed Uniform Standards for Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) coursework and attended the Investment Banking Institute where he studied financial analysis, valuation methodologies and advanced financial modeling. He is currently a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, American Bankruptcy Institute, Turnaround Management Association, Special Asset Management Association, and Tax Executive Institute. Tepper earned an MBA from Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business & Management and holds two undergraduate degrees in finance and accounting.
