My next assignment was to establish the commercial and operational roll-out of the Telkom Mobile Distributor sales channel nationally, consisting of numerous outbound call centres in the post-paid space and both national and regional wholesale / on-seller / distributor operations in the pre-paid space.After successfully implementing these two major sales channels, effectively generating 90% of Telkom Mobile's post-paid revenue and 45-50% of its pre-paid revenue for Year One, I joined the Programme Management Office in a senior capacity and took up a new assignment, which consists of project managing and implementing (across multiple work-streams) the end-to-end commercial and operational solutions required by the Telkom Mobile Sales and Marketing Organisation to gain traction towards it's sales and revenue targets and overall market goals.I was later tasked with a new role, to be the single point of entry through which all of the commercial offerings for the various business units of Telkom SA are filtered through, into the company's owned and operated Retail channels nationally.
