David Vazquez serves as District Director for the Office of Councilmember Nelson Esparza in Fresno City Council District 7. In his role, David oversees all district office operations. David develops and implements objectives, strategies and operating plans for the Councilmember’s district office. He directs all activities and staff of the Councilmember’s district office.

Oversee technical business development components of three grants (SB-TAP, SB-TAEP, BAA) grants serving existing or start-up businesses for Native Americans, Native Hawaiians, Native Alaskan and/or communities of minority groups.

Provides administrative and general assistance to the office of a Council Member Oliver L. Baines III, District Three in his role as the representative to the district, and as a member of the Council.

The Office of Community and Economic Development Center is now administrator of Fresno State Small Business Development Center (Fresno State SBDC), a host institution of University of California, Merced-Small Business Development Center (UCM SBDC) Network. UCM SBDC Network provides business assistance in Central California. Its mission is to provide entrepreneurs and small businesses with high-quality education, consulting, support for innovation, access to information and tools necessary to build successful sustainable businesses.In addition to Fresno State SBDC, the UCM SBDC Network of host institutions includes California State University, Bakersfield-Small Business Development Center (CSUB-SBDC), California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB-SBDC), Cal Poly SBDC for Innovation, and The Alliance in Stanislaus County-Small Business Development Center (Alliance SBDC).Central California's geographic area is 51,000 square miles and spans from the Eastern Sierras to the Central Pacific. San Joaquin Valley counties represented are Fresno, Kings, Madera, and Tulare.

As a specific oriented trainer, I work with all of goalkeepers making it to their respective teams. Focusing specifically with the Varsity goalkeepers, but as well as developing the Junior Varsity and Freshmen goalkeepers. The goalkeeper program is aimed to develop the high school athletic by focusing on training all aspects of the goalkeeper; technically, tactically, physiologically and fitness.

The Office of Community & Economic Development at Fresno State connects the University to the community throughout the eight counties of the San Joaquin Valley. We connect the community to the resources of Fresno State, through data, research, industry insights, and connections to collaborators, investors, researchers, affiliates, and new markets.Here, I'm responsible for providing administrative support to project directors and project managers to help ensure project goals are completed. Among administrative duties, such as generating reports, proofreading documents, conducting various industry research, managing files and collecting data are some duties assisting with. For the past two years, I've assist as an instructor for Fresno State's Parent University, a program aiming to close the gap in computer literacy for adults across the Central Valley. In an initiative under the San Joaquin Valley Rural Development Center.
