My purpose is to share the gift of light with the world.I am an overly sensitive, marginally materialistic, pseudo-tree-hugging Midwestern farm boy turned lighting designer. My hyper sensitivity means I dim everything including my dashboard, and my marginal materialism means I love high quality light fixtures, elegant controls, and French cuffs. I calm my enviro-consciousness by using energy-saving lighting solutions and wearing hiking shoes to work, and I'm always ready to roll up my literal shirt sleeves to solve problems with baling wire and duct tape (although now I prefer gaffers tape). I always feel a little self-conscious when sharing my professional history, so I am reluctant to list the blogging, Houzz articles, magazine articles, conference presentations, speaking engagements, educational seminars and projects from coast to coast that keep me busy. Instead you'll just have to ask me for a full bio.But my backstory won't help you with light- only our collaboration in the future can make that happen.
