Providing Finance Business Partnering and value added services to, Benelux, Nordics & Baltics, Greece, Poland, Ukraine, Russia & CIS and Central Europe. Challenging, collaborating and consolidating information across over 30 diverse countries from Kazakhstan in the East to Benelux and the Nordics in the West.

Responsible for bringing ledgers from the USA to the UK as part of a major project in creating a shared service centre.

Responsible for all global forecasting, budgeting, planning and analysis for TCC. UK expert on Corporation Tax. Led the UK, Eire and Nordic finance function, on the UK Leadership/Strategy Team, Board of Directors, Board of the Pension Trustees and Nordic Board. As the UK commercial division business partner had responsibility for all budgetary, management and statutory reporting.• Negotiated price increases on some of our products with the department of health increasing the bottom line by an average of over £65k per year• In-sourced our Corporation Tax dealings and resolved 4 HMRC tax enquiries saving tax consultancy fees on average of £40k per year • Project managed our Europe Middle East and Africa product rationalisation, eliminating 326 products/pack sizes in various markets saving around $1m to the bottom line• Pro-actively created relationship between the Department of Health and key Parliamentarians during the 2009 PPRS negotiation cycle successfully providing positive outcomes for small and medium sized Pharma companies by lobbying from the SME perspective• Produced detailed and robust cost analysis used as supporting evidence in defending pricing pressure from a major customer demanding unilateral discounts, saving £450k of margin• Appointed Director of our Nordic company during 2008 and project managed the rationalization and ultimate liquidation of the entity• Prepared regular Return on Investment (ROI) cost/profit analysis for the commercial division to enhance decision making in the business and on one set of analysis alone, our consumer promoted products saved £500k in unproductive investment• Formed a commercially astute UK finance team that pro-actively supported our internal customers resulting in very happy and confident business relationships across the different departments ensuring budgetary cycles and variances on spends processes went smoothly • Led the transition from Stiefel to GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) on the acquisition, ensuring all finance processes in the UK Commercial remit of Stiefel were satisfactorily passed to GSK

Preparation of all detailed UK corporation tax computations for all Nortel British group companies. • Won a case against the Inland Revenue with the Revenue Commissioners on agreeing that semi-conductive flooring was part of plant and machinery and not building accelerating capital allowance claim by decades and saving £15m in the short term• Dealt with major integration of a UK FTSE 100 company and their tax affairs going back decades
