I also spent time on the circulation desk and shelved items. Being an academic library, I was involved in critiquing software from a user perspective that, at some point in the future, was to be used by the students. As a result of this, I not only wrote a critique but extra instructions for the use of the software. The remaining part of my fieldwork placement was spent sourcing and assessing online video tutorials to be used by students.
