- Responsible for day to day operations of a private training company delivering IT, Customer Service, Business Administration and Functional Skills courses in Work Place Learning, Traineeships and for the unemployed (Welfare to Work) as well as full-cost training in Safeguarding and First Aid.- Was direct line manager to sales; marketing; teaching and administration staff.- Managed concurrent, end to end projects using Prince2 methodology e.g. company's Traineeship programme, website and virtual learning platform (amongst others).- Managed large contracts with government departments, local authorities and FE colleges.- Established and maintained relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including government departments/agencies and commercial organisations).- Managed risks, issues and change in project and operational environments.- Played a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence and diversification of revenue streams.- Achieved 98%+ learner success rate; 95%+ learner retention; 92%+ submission paperwork correct first time; 39%+ learner progression rate (of which 14.9% of unemployed learners progressed into employment – regional Work Programme job outcome rate was 11.2%).
