I was the product manager for three different modules during my time at Tanium, I worked closely with customers, product developers, product leadership, UX designers, product marketing, technical account managers, subject-matter experts, customer support, and sales to create and support products that customers want to buy and love to use. Modules:Comply – Vulnerability and configuration compliance management. Tanium’s highest-earning individual module.Discover – scan networks to find and categorize unmanaged devices. Tanium’s most widely-owned module.Map – automatically discover and map complex business services. Designed and oversaw a complete rewrite of Map.

Managed a bicoastal team of front and back-end developers, as well as QA, IT, support, and documentation creating tools for data encryption, tokenization, FIDO authentication, PKI, certificate management, and secure file sharing. Overhauled the team's processes, moving to agile development. Brought in new tools for backlog grooming, sprint planning, team communication, source control, code review, etc.

I did a broad mix of product management, business development, pre- and post-sales technical support, gave countless product demos, and presented at numerous conferences.Microsoft bought BlueStripe in June of 2015.

I was the third non-founder hired at BlueStripe. We built from scratch BlueStripe FactFinder - a tool for realtime, dynamic application mapping and monitoring. I worked on the server and console code, almost entirely in Java.

Founded software company, BrightCar, that developed and sold car maintenance software. This was a two-person micro-ISV project that was run in spare time on nights and weekends. I was the sole designer and developer (C++, Javascript, HTML) , and I shared marketing and sales efforts with my co-founder.

In my ten years at MicroMass, I started as a software developer and quickly became a software dev manager (with a team of 4-8 software developers plus 2-3 web and database developers). We wrote code mainly in C++, but also C# and Java. We built a runtime content tailoring platform, Rapport, that allowed MicroMass to build dynamic, personalized content for print, web, and email campaigns, mostly for the pharma industry.I also had responsibility for the custom web, system, and database design, development, and support for client campaigns. Each campaign is custom built, but we use a number of templates, particularly for our databases.

I wrote realtime, embedded software (C and some C++) for a switched-digital video system.

I wrote realtime, embedded code (C and assembler) for an intelligent VME Bus controller card.
