Roles included the sole teaching assistant for the new Introduction to Horticulture Online Program under Dr. Jennifer Bousselot as well as two sections of Plant Propagation under Brian Mitchell and Tamla Blunt.

This role was part of the Flower Trial Gardens at Colorado State University. My role was to coordinate entries to be received for the 2018 season, take data for the 300 entries, communicate with the Perennial Garden Committee, and generate the end of the year data report.

Coordinated the one acre Perennial Demonstration Garden at the Colorado State University Flower Trial Gardens. I maintained over 800+ taxa of perennials in their first year after being transplanted from the original CSU Plant Environmental Research Center. I also was responsible for compiling blooming data as well as survival statistics, co-authoring recommendations for Colorado growers, and helping with CSU Extension outreach events.

My responsibilities as an intern were to complete general greenhouse labor including water, fertilize, then monitor and report issues. I helped with planting, transplanting, and answering questions for retail customers. Finally, I gained knowledge and experience in the industry for 10 weeks, total of 400+ hours. I developed a strong background in herbaceous plants, especially perennials.
