I have 15 years of hands-on research experience working at the intersections of immunology, oncology, epigenetics, single cell technologies and statistics/data science. My research experiences have spanned the gamut, including: basic biology, translational characterization of combination therapies, drug screening, biomarker discovery and characterization, analysis of clinical trial correlates and results, and development of novel assays and data analysis pipelines. My work with HDAC inhibitors led to the initiation of three phase I clinical trials (NCT02032810, NCT03565406, NCT02935790). I have also help identify several novel biomarkers to melanoma checkpoint immunotherapies and helped develop/optimize a clinical diagnostic, flow cytometry assay. On the technical side, I have end-to-end expertise in high-dimension flow cytometry, from panel design to advanced data analysis, including development of novel data analysis pipelines. I am proficient in the R, Python, and bash programming languages. I have a passion for statistics, both frequentist and Bayesian. I am skilled in various areas of bioinformatics and computational biology including RNA-Seq, single-cell RNA-seq analysis, data integration, supervised and unsupervised learning, network analysis, etc. I also like coffee.
