I'm a Director of Advanced Analytics (and former attorney) living in Orlando, with 10+ years experience in data mining and data analytics. Since 2003, I've applied mathematical tools such as linear and nonlinear programming, Bayes theorem, Monte Carlo simulation, machine learning (including convolutional and recursive neural networks), natural language processing (NLP), long-tailed distribution fitting, matrix algebra, and calculus to client data to devise creative solutions to my clients' challenges and goals. I use mainly Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, AutoKeras and PySpark), along with Spark, R, SAS, SQL, Excel/VBA and Tableau). I typically employ these tools within Jupyter notebooks, which I manage primarily in AWS with SageMaker.Before I began doing data science and management consulting exclusively, I practiced labor and employment law for 20 years. During that time, I was a partner in a litigation boutique law firm, and an in-house attorney at American Airlines.
