David Yorke started his career as a news cameraman in 1971, Working with world class journalists such as Michael Maclear, Henry Champ, in Canada, and Morley Safer, and Mike Wallace Documenting and travelling the war zones and hot spots around the world. Amongst the many conflict zones he worked in were Viet Nam, the Middle East, and Central America.Branching out into the world of producing television, David was executive producer and director of photography for many documentary programs. Amongst the highest awarded of his achievements is Raoul Wallenberg: Buried Alive, winner of many, short listed for the Academy Award nominations...we didn't make it. Here he worked with the cablecos and telcos such as Bell Canada, Rogers Shaw Communications, Toronto Hydro, and others as they developed content and delivery models for the next millennium. In 2004, David produced and launched a TV show in association with CITY TV to revolutionize the phenomena of on-line dating. While the on-line dating sties were monetizing the platform in excess of $100 mm, they were not tying this to any TV series. David added a component of live feeds from “daters” and producing bios to bring a revenue stream far beyond traditional TV commercials that were the mainstay of the industry at that time. David continued to produce and direct direct response television (Infomercials), however, in lieu of production fees, David often received fees based on units sold, or sales volume, something completely unheard of in the TV commercial business at the time.In 2015, David combined his many years of movie production experience as well as over 20 years of baseball umpiring, raised the necessary capital, and produced the world's first digital baseball rule book. Every rule in the professional rule book is illustrated by a HD video situation example with text and audio explanations. David formed a technical team of developers and graphic designers and released the Baseball Rules Explorer app on Google Play and The App Store.
