David Yum Architects combines the agility and fresh thinking of a small research based practice with the experience, protocols and strategies of a large institutional corporate firm. This intentional foundation comes from David’s training at the highest level practices, small to large, from the offices of David Chipperfield, Shelton Mindel and Alvaro Siza, to Swanke Hayden Connell and Gwathmey Siegal.DYA was established in the year 2000. We focus on residential and institutional architecture and design. The firm has received the Honor Award in Design from the AIA New York City as well as Design awards from the New Jersey AIA and the Boston Society of Architects. Our work has been published in numerous periodicals including Architectural Record, Interior Design and The Style.
