CurrentI have strong relationships with legislators, state departments, and stakeholders, which has resulted in the swift passage of critical legislation and expanded access to equitable healthcare. I collaborated to pass ten out of 13 laws (77%) within three legislative sessions, two of which were in 2024. Expert written and oral testimony has witnessed 100% success in moving legislation forward. I excel in program management, generating highly sought-after resources in grassroots advocacy to empower like-minded groups to support desired policy change. I maintain high ethical standards and unwavering loyalty in all my endeavors.The Banking on the Future program was the first organization to provide grants for fertility preservation to adolescent oncology and transgender patients. I prepare summaries and strategic plans for sponsorship retention and development and design and create training programs to engage infertility patients and cancer survivors in successfully appealing to insurance carriers and employers for benefits. So far, 70% of individuals have experienced success in their efforts.I thoroughly analyze healthcare regulations and lobby state departments and insurers to improve access to fertility healthcare. I successfully advocated for coverage of cryopreservation of reproductive cells under infertility treatment and fertility preservation for cancer patients. I work with insurers, employers, government, community partners, and individuals to advocate for health policies that include infertility treatment and fertility preservation benefits.I lead projects from seven research studies approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and completed with doctors and graduate students. I presented the findings in poster presentations at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine Scientific Congress, co-authored articles in Fertility and Sterility, and contributed to the publication of advocacy materials.
