Davin Mackenzie has two concurrent roles for Madison Sports Group and Scape. In addition he also conducts additional project advisory work and is an independent director of one public and one private company.Davin Mackenzie was a member of Spencer Stuart’s Board Services, Financial Officer, Private Equity, Financial Services and Education, Nonprofit & Government practices and also was active in Government Affairs and Public affairs searches. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Davin spent more than 10 years in the private equity industry, focused primarily on growth capital investments in China. Previously, he worked for seven years for the International Finance Corporation, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, based first in Washington, D.C., and then in Beijing as country manager for China and Mongolia. He also served as a strategy consultant for Strategic Planning Associates (later named Mercer Management Consulting) for several years. He launched his career as a credit analyst and loan officer for Bank of Boston's branch in Taipei, Taiwan.Davin holds a bachelor's degree in government with a minor in Asian studies from Dartmouth College. He attended The Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania, where he obtained a master's degree in international studies and an M.B.A. in finance from The Wharton School. He was also selected by the World Bank to attend its Executive Development Program at Harvard Business School.Davin serves as a board director of several listed Chinese companies. He is a former chair of the board of Western Academy of Beijing, and is also a director and former chairman of Sports Beijing. He has lived in China for more than 25 years and is fluent in Mandarin.
