In charge of transitioning the new recruit from training to on-the-job duties. Instill confidence within the recruit to ensure a smooth transition within the field. Use my experience, skills and values to develop the recruits job knowledge while on duty. Mentor the recruit to ensure that they will succeed in their new role and be an asset to the Toronto Transit Commission. Ensure that the recruit does not breach the Toronto Transit Commission code of conduct or any policy and procedures. Lastly teach the recruit the departments core values and hold the recruit accountable to perform professionally while on duty.
