I provide trauma-informed therapy to clients who have experienced various forms of adversity, such as abuse, violence, race discrimination, or loss. I use evidence-based techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), to help them process their traumatic memories and heal their emotional wounds. I have been working in this field for over 10 years and have obtained the Crisis, Trauma and PTSD Counselor Certification from the EMDR Association and the NET Certification from the University of Konstanz.I am also a storyteller, poet, writer, and master of ceremonies with a passion for Caribbean culture and arts. I have a Master's Degree in Creative Writing, from the University of Portsmouth and have published an ebook and an audible book titled Tales of Survival. I have hosted and performed at various Carnivals; events and festivals, around the UK, including Nottinghill Carnival. As a main master of ceremonies & host for various aspects of the cultural programs over the last two decades. I believe that storytelling and creativity as well as therapy are powerful tools for healing, empowerment, and social change.
