About DavisI, like many people who live in the Triangle, am a northern transplant though I went to college in North Carolina and married a North Carolinian. I grew up in the Washington DC metropolitan area and as a child loved to play sports and became very fond of the Maryland tradition of eating blue crabs. As a senior in High School I decided to take my talents south to Western Carolina University (Go Catamounts!!!) where I majored in Finance and was blessed to meet many lifelong friends and my future wife, Tammy. Tammy is my rock, not only is she a wonderful mother to our two kids, the love of my life, but she is a talented and successful Realtor as well. I will be the first to tell you how lucky I am to have met Tammy, she will be the second.My passion is helping people; it is what has led me into a career where I have the opportunity to help people finance the biggest purchase of their lives, a new home. Purchasing a new home can be stressful and though it isn't as easy as it was 10 years ago, I try to make the process as easy and pain free as possible. I have been in the Real Estate/Mortgage lending business for over 31 years. I started in 1990 with BB&T as a Mortgage Originator in the Washington DC area before moving back to North Carolina.Through education, going over options, and getting to know you as a person my goal is to understand your mortgage needs, tailor fit the perfect program for you, and ultimately make a lifelong fan out of all of my clients. My philosophy on customer service comes from Ken Blanchard and Sheldon Bowles "Raving Fans" book.
