Bluestream is a telehealth virtual care delivery platform servicing thousands of patients daily. Bluestream was acquired by eVisit in April 2023• Began from solo engineer writing the first line of code in a greenfield project to deployment in hundreds of facilities across the nation servicing millions of calls and the successful exit of the business.• Built webRTC based video platform capable of interfacing with both web browsers on video and audio on traditional PSTN/SIP phone systems• Built patented routing engine for routing of healthcare calls to the proper resources including escalation logic, knowledge of availability/reachability, networking between different organizations, and credential/license management.• Developed and lead integration projects with hospital room TV systems, EMRs using HL7/FHIR, video/audio interpreting services, insurance databases, and more• On onset of the pandemic in 2020 assisted in hospital systems converting most operations to remote under emergency situations, utilization grew by over 10x in 2 weeks and continued high growth rate throughout the year without performance issues.• NYC Health + Hospital major implementation included routing thousands of 911 calls to Bluestream.• Operated AWS infrastructure, deployments, backups, security, logs• Responsible for all security and compliance in a HIPAA regulated application.• Built and managed development team and technical operations of company including Engineering, Support, QA, and IT.•Four nines of uptime achieved every year, total lifetime uptime exceeds five nines.• Involved in direct sales engineering calls with prospective and current customers• Worked with product management on solutioning for new features and advising on feasibility, budget, and timing

Starling is a tablet based nurse call bell accessory attached to the patient bedside allowing for patients to request care. Compared to a standard nurse call bell requests could be specific to indicating patient needs assistance with: pain, medication, food, restroom, etc... Interface was customized to patient's native language allowing for ease of use and helping bridge communication gaps.Starling was acquired by Hill-Rom in 2014 for direct integration to Hill-Rom products including their hospital beds.• Worked on product from before the first pitch to end customers at an early alpha stage through to commercial deployment in hospitals and acquisition by Hill-Rom• Created workflow engine to allow drag and drop configuration of actions by non technical users, example workflows could include waiting X amount of time for a nurse to respond before escalating. Included branching logic and loops, timed actions, error handling, and multiple entry points into workflow. Internal structure was a graph based system with nodes pointing to each other stored as JSON. • Created and maintained Android Application including custom hardware integration with Asus Onyx Medical Tablets to directly control existing bedside nurse call systems from the tablet.• Created Arduino based hardware device that allowed nurse call bell systems to interface with off the shelf iPads and Android tablets. • Migrated backend framework form Zend to Symphony to support features needed for commercial Deployment.• Responsible for software security in a HIPAA regulated environment including handling of PII and PHI.• Onsite implementations with hospital clients and testing of performance including analysis of WIFI coverage and dead zones within a facility.• Worked on build scripts and processes for a migration from Rackspace to AWS.• Involved with technical Due Diligence process on sale of company including onsite visits to discuss capabilities, security, and potential integration points
