I ensure that all systems are operational and online, facilitating real-time collaborations and data scraping for analysis. Additionally, I am responsible for the administration of the largest open database on armed violence in Latin America, ensuring its integrity and continuous functioning.Previously, the technology department did not exist and was outsourced. As the person responsible for establishing and developing this department within the institute, I implemented several key initiatives that drove our progress:- Implementation of the Technology Department: I created the necessary structure to support internal technological operations, replacing outsourcing.- Implementation of Cybersecurity and LGPD Compliance: I ensured the security of our systems and data by implementing robust cybersecurity measures and ensuring compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).- Implementation and Management of the new open API project;- Improvements in mobile applications and publication of maps on armed violence;- Creation of tools for data scraping from Twitter and other platforms;- Implementation of Business Intelligence (BI);- Studies on the historical database.Instituto Fogo Cruzado has achieved significant results in its mission to change perceptions of armed violence:- Over 300,000 people actively contribute to mapping cases and use our application and social networks;- Over 140 researchers and activists have utilized the institution's data to measure levels of armed violence and its impacts on education, health, and transportation;- Instituto Fogo Cruzado has already prompted the publication of over 7,000 reports on armed violence;- Public officials from different branches and levels of government have used Fogo Cruzado data in the development of important public policies. During this period, I had the opportunity to collaborate with other notable clients in the advertising industry, such as Live, Veduca, Invitro, and GH. I actively participated in specific projects for agency clients, as well as events and the development of a plan for remote class broadcasting at Instituto Criar de TV, Cinema e Novas Mídias during the pandemic. My commitment to excellence and innovation stood out as I was involved in crucial initiatives, such as the successful implementation of LGPD and the establishment of robust infrastructure for remote work in 2019, aiming to ensure remote work at Live agency. This measure and other proactive efforts from our team ensured that when the pandemic hit Brazil in March 2020, Compumac's clients, including Agency New Vegas and Instituto Criar where I served as technical lead, were adequately prepared for the transition to remote work.
