The projects that I oversee use technologies of AI (NLP, LLM), Bots and Digital assistants, Speech-to-Text (STT), Text-to-Speech (TTS), Analytics, Node.js, .NET, and Java, all of them running using agile methodologies.Starting in 2010, I was CEO at Facti - a private IT institute - and, from 2013 to 2017, I was head of the software architecture team. Facti is a private foundation devoted to developing public and private projects related to innovation and public policy instruments to the IT sector in Brazil: R&D projects funded with public investments such as FINEP, BNDES/FUNTEC, FAPESP, CNPq, Lei de Informática.Previously I was CTO at an IBM partner software company and CIO at a Brazilian telecommunication company. Since 2004 I have been involved in projects related to Cloud Computing, Big Data, Data Science, SOA (Service-oriented Architecture), BPM (Business Process Modeling), and software architecture. I started as a software developer in 1990: BI, relational database, embedded software in telecommunication equipment, and Web-based Java, PERL, PHP, C#, and Python. I am particularly interested in data science, Big Data, AI (Artificial Intelligence), Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, enterprise architecture, Agile methodologies, and Open-Source. In addition, I am connected with People Development, focused on under-representative groups (URG): black people, LGBTQIA+, and women leadership.
