David House, PhD became an educator after many years as a research scientist and has a life-long interest in making science meaningful, valuable, and accessible for students from diverse backgrounds. His experience as a high school science teacher focused on ways to understand nature, projects to approach and solve real-world problems, and how science is important to our daily lives. Now he is a curriculum developer and professional development specialist for the Science Education for Public Understanding Program (SEPUP) at the UC Berkeley Lawrence Hall of Science and has a continuing interest in science education, policy, and technology to enhance learning and discovery.
