The company transported 95% Jet Fuel and 5% Aviation Gasoline. Marketed company's services and interfaced with customers. Determined job requirements and turn times for drivers. Monitored and evaluated all drivers in the performance of their job determined their effectiveness and ensured that they maintained standards in accordance with Federal, State, Local and Jet Star Guidelines. In charge of employee recruitment and termination. Maintained and generated daily truck utilization reports for all four terminals, facilitated quarterly driver/safety meetings, supervised truck maintenance shop, maintained budget for all four separate cost centers. Involved closely with the company’s discussions with our Bellingham, Washington terminal’s drivers, on organized labor solicitations.

Scheduled all of the company’s jet fuel and aviation gasoline – via pipeline, vessel, barge and truck and trailer. Managed all inventories west of the Rocky Mountains, located at all airports, third party terminals and company-owned terminals at set, or assigned target levels for proper inventory control and funds flow. Reorganized the scheduling desk operations. Developed a system to computerize the inventories individually and by territory, and developed computerized management control sheets for simplicity. In assisting the company in determining the supply condition for the west coast, I developed and linked a series of comprehensive spreadsheets together, into one summary page report, identifying specific information needed for the supply manager. This enabled him to identify shorts/lengths in the west coast system for proper targets, funds flow and trading positions.
