Program Assistant
CurrentSubject matter expert in financial planning, regulations and policies to ensure areas of finance meet Los Angeles Field Offices budget requirements while certifying compliance, management analysis, records management, continuously auditing statistics, and entering data in multiple processing systems.Manages, reviews and coordinates procurement activities; planning, monitoring, and controlling usage.Works closely with operations and staff in development and implementation of new admin policies and procedures in order to improve program efficiency.Coordinates and fosters a model workplace environment characterized by mutual respect, fairness, open communication and cooperative problem solving.Facilitates employee work groups (1700 Foundation and Diversity and Inclusion Committee) to build professional relationships amongst workforce and management while demonstrating collaborative approaches toward meeting agency mission and goals.Works under limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, by demonstrating considerable independence in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.Analyze operating programs to evaluate their effectiveness in achieving an organization's objectives by fact finding and analysis in program analysis jobs by supporting services provided to management.Extensive experience planning, organizing and managing programs as well as leading and directing subordinate staff with the ability to be agile in a very fluid environment with diverse clients/stakeholders and making public presentations on many diverse topics.Plans, coordinates and manages multiple support operations that include administration, financial/budget, human resources, customer service/stakeholder, procurement, safety and occupational health, logistics, real estate services, and IT.Manages delivery of executive resources management, including classification, position management, recruitment, placement, and other administrative and HR issues.
