The individual will also monitor insurance and variable annuity transactions to assure that employees engaged in the transactions meet licensing and other requirements. The candidate may also assist with securities registrations. must ensure that proper background screening reviews were performed and analyze registration data, escalating flagged items as needed. The candidate will also review existing registrations against requirements for certain sales activities and facilitate creation of sales IDs. Other key responsibilities include ordering licensing preparation materials for employees and assuring accurate billing; ensuring appropriate and secure retention of documents; creation and maintenance of reports for control, tracking, and analysis purposes.

Maintain up-to-date, thorough understanding of processes and procedures for each assigned function allowing ease in identifying possible problems/issues resulting in mitigation of risk. Perform exception processing and research accurately and timely. Assist in resolution of Fraud Investigations. Works with internal contacts within department as well as Corporate Security and other M&T departments. Ensure proper escalation of issues and possible system problems. Perform cursory review, interpret data and perform maintenance for Debit Card and ATM accounts. Verify accuracy of data entered to the system based on the source documents. Open, sort and distribute mail to assigned representatives within area. Compile information for routine reports and offsite storage. Cross train co-workers on similar responsibilities.

Servicing Bankruptcy Loan Portfolio - Review loans weekly/monthly to ensure investor guidelines are met. Work closely with Law firms to ensure that referrals are completed before exceeding investor timelines. Prepare payment histories, sworn affidavits or indebtedness, reinstatement figures, payoff figures etc at the attorney's request. Handle incoming customer services calls.

Professionally answer telephone calls, respond to routine questions, and reroute calls when appropriate. Effectively capture claim loss information from accounts/customers via phone in a prompt and efficient manner. Accurately input loss information into a claim multi-line system via a personal computer.
