My last position in Haverhill Public Schools, I had responsibility for the four middle schools' attendance, home visits for excessive absent elementary and middle school students, and weekly meetings with assistant principals and guidance counselors at the middle schools. The Consentino School is a grade 1-8 school with almost 1,000 students.Was grade 9 assistant principal at Haverhill High School in 2007-2008 and at the Dr Paul Nettle Middle School for three subsequent years. Prior to becoming an administrator, I taught physical education and health at the middle and high school levels. Coordinated in-school suspension my first seven years at Haverhill HS. Was advisor for the Class of 2006 for four years, school diversity club-STOP: Students Overcoming Prejudice, the Greater Lawrence Educational Leadership Program, and Environmental Club. Was head indoor and outdoor boys and girls track and field coach at Haverhill high school both in the 1980s and 1990s. In 1998 our boys team had an undefeated State championship season winning all dual and invitationals. 1996-1997 we were Eastern MA Div. I runner ups.

Head coach for indoor and outdoor track. Doubled the size of the program. Boys were Eastern MA Division 1 runnerup in 1996 and 1997. In 1998, the boys went undefeated in the state and NE and were All-state champs. Won the conference, eastern MA State relays, eastern MA meets. Scored 96 points to upset defending champion Brockton HS. The girls were conference dual runner-up in 1995 with one of the great field event teams assembled. Were 3rd at State Relays. In 1999 when the program was split by gender led the girls to an Eastern MA Runner/up finish. Was selected as boston globe boys track coach of the year and the Eagle Tribune boys sports Coach of the Year in 1998.
