Part of executive team responsible for managing the strategic planning and execution for all advancement activities of the school including:Major Gifts - Created, implemented and managed a program to cultivate 40 major gift donors and coordinate all communications, visits, stewardship, and moves management strategies. Acquired largest gift to CFA since 2008 for the construction of a state of the art greenhouse and park on campus, and largest non-campaign gift ever. Significantly increased efforts to promote planned giving and received first legacy gift contract in 2014. Overall giving increase of 21%. Annual Fund - Managed portfolio of 400 parents, 1200 alumni, 600 grandparents, 17 board of trustees, 105 faculty/staff. Increased parent giving to 74% and grew fund 22%.Managed Board development and training, events, and Corporate Sponsorships Program.

Part of executive team responsible for: Fund Development - Created, implemented and managed the planning and execution of all fundraising activities of the agency, including the annual fund, the holiday fund raising appeal, special events (Annual Golf Tournamet [live and silent auction], Twilight Bike Ramble, Fall Gala, and Summer Raffle.) Increased donations 25% over pre-hire levels, and these levels remained consistent throughout tenure. Spearheaded efforts to increase online donations, which were over 80% greater than previous year totals. Donor Relations - Created, implemented, and managed all donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities. Implemented “thank you” calls monthly by board to each donor; implemented “thank you” notes daily by Director of Development, and monthly by Executive Director and Board of Directors. Public Relations, Volunteers, and Communications - Served as public face and presence for Good Shepherd in the community through hundreds of personal meetings, providing personal shelter tours, and speaking at area churches, schools, civic group meetings, and community fairs. Managed activity of over 500 volunteers, including all orientations, training, communications with, and placement of volunteers. Coordinated all mailings, and in-kind donations.

As part of senior executive team (reporting to Headmaster and Board of Directors), responsible for:Fundraising – Managed the planning and execution of all fundraising activities of the school, including the annual fund, the planned giving program and endowments, and all special events (auction, art sale, bargain sale). Increased parent participation in the annual fund from 36% to 93% in 2008-09. Reduced direct mail costs through efficient database management and creation of online giving.Alumni Relations – Led all alumni relations, including homecoming, reunions, the Alumni Scholarship, and ongoing communications with alumni and friends of the school. Increased participation and net profit from annual auction and dinner, (school’s largest fundraiser) by over 30%. Created first Facebook Alumni Association and attracted 36% of all alumni as members, which provided a new and effective communication vehicle. Public Relations and Communications – Created and published quarterly school newsletter and handled variety of external speaking engagements and media relations matters. Represented the school at various community organizations, meetings and events.
