I am a successful business owner and mother of two. I have worked with children, infant to twelve for twenty-seven years. While I have experience in banking and retail, my true passion is working with and around children. About two years ago I had some life changes that allowed me to take some time and reflect on how I wanted to see the second half of my life. I decided to go back to school. This is my first time in college and the experience has truly been far better than expected. I obtained my Administrative Certificate, and have decided to continue on towards my AA degree. Currently I am still doing daycare part time, but I also sub for Mark West School District, and Head Start, an early childhood education program. My ideal job would be doing administration /office work within the Santa Rosa School District. Allowing me to expand my current college skills and love for learning, with my passion for working with children and setting good examples for today’s youth. Children are today's tomorrow, and as an adult we have a chance, no a responsibility to educate and encourage them to be better, kinder, and a productive part of this planet. I don’t teach math, or science, or history. I teach: please and thank you, responsibility, and how to play well with others. A life lesson everyone should know, but not every child is taught.
