Running the office on a day to day basis. My duties include opening post, typing correspondence, minutes, reports, all administrative work ie, petty cash, invoices, ordering of stationary, organising functions, booking flights, trains etc for all the Engineers. I am also a PA to two Directors, my duties entail, typing personal and business correspondence (copy/audio), taking notes in meetings, keeping diaries on a day to day basis up to date on MS outlook, monitoring emails on a day to day basis.

Working for a very busy Senior Associate and Solicitor, my duties were typing large agreements/reports (redline/strikeout), using Deltaview comparison programme, memos, letters (via digital dictation), electronic diary management, sending of correspondence etc via email, using Lawsoft accounts package for bills etc, answering telephone and dealing with clients’ queries/questions, making train/hotel arrangements, booking rooms etc for clients, filing, PowerPoint presentations. The type of legal work undertaken at this firm was dealing with public/ private partnership initiatives.

As well as running a very busy office and making sure all projects were completed to the highest standard, I was also a PA to the Managing Director and Marketing Director.Providing a high standard of quality work which entails, 80% audio typing of general and private correspondence, Minutes of Meetings, Reports, Presentations and organisingCorporate functions.Attendance at weekly production meetings and monthly management meetings and supervising four secretarial staff. Distribution of post, distribution of work to other secretarial staff, dealing with petty cash, timesheets, ordering of stationery, arranging client meetings, booking venues, flights, trains etc.
