In the role of Industry Engagements I engage and assist external partners who are seeking unique and highly desired capabilities available at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. These partnerships are critical to space exploration and achieving success together as we go into deep space, as well as identifying the potential to improve life on Earth.

Challenge Manager who supports the Agency Level Prizes and Challenges Program. An exciting role that reaches across the Agency with subject matter experts, outside the Agency with Allied Organizations and integrates with Industry Partners. Provide technical, business and administrative information on a daily basis to the Director, Deputy Director and Associate Center Directors of the Marshall Space Flight Center to execute the NASA and Center missions. I attended and recorded Senior Executive action assignments in Center meetings including: Strategic Planning Councils, Center Management Councils, Integrated Management System Councils. I also supported numerous other meetings involving the Center senior management team, other government officials and private companies' business leaders. I played a strong role in ensuring the day-to-day activities of the Office of the Director are efficiently performed while coordinating multi-organizational inputs. I tracked and communicated to the Associate Director the travel budget and coordinated travel schedules among required Center senior executives. I collaborated on a team to support the Deputy Center Director’s mentoring events to assure the growth of the next generation of Center leaders. I collaborated with multi-organizational leaders to assure the Center management has the most up-to-date strategic communication packages required for meetings with government, military and academia representatives.

Serve technical organizations to plan and execute leadership and career development for the NASA workforce in support of the NASA mission. This includes but is not limited to: facilitating Agency, Center and organizational support, developing in-house, educational programs and providing inputs/coordinating Center nominations and selections by senior executive committee members. This position has provided me with a strong research base and network among vendors (as well as building in-house subject-matter-experts) of many types, primarily in the fields of communication and leadership.

Performed workforce analysis of data to provide inputs to assist in answering questions about current and future workforce skill verses need. These activities included providing data to both the Center and organizations to assist in planning the demand verses availability of employees and skills. This data was needed and used in workforce utilization and planning across the Center, aligned with the Agency plan.

As Training Consultant to multiple engineering departments at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center; I advise top-level managers, implement long and short term plans tied to the NASA mission, and ensure plans fall within the guidelines of NASA, Marshall Space Flight Center, and the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). Responsibilities include: program management, client consultation, program strategy planning, market/vendor research, negotiation, pricing, cost/price comparative analyses, procurement, implementation, and evaluation.

Develop effective external as well as on-site relationships through educational/work assignments, workshops, activities, projects, and information distribution. This included seven-plus years of experience successfully building external, inter-Agency, and on-site relationships through activities, projects, and information distribution in education outreach. These relationships were effective in producing quality products and services implemented in the form of educator guides, workshops, and hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math opportunities for students and educators. Proposed for and managed multiple projects and activities through external partnerships that encourage teacher skill enhancement and partnership with NASA and its educational resources. These were linked to external organizations, partnerships, institutions, aligned with national education standards, and the NASA strategic goals and objectives for education.

Managed the North Alabama territory for Abbott Laboratories and promoted products to primary care doctors, internal medicine, and pediatricians.
