About Dawn Albert

Up to 70% of the reason people leave a job is due to poor leadership. ✅ Become a leader that people stay for✅ Become an authentic and inclusive leader👋🏼 I’m a white racial resilience expert who helps white leaders lead authentically and inclusively. What is ‘white racial resilience?’▷ White racial resilience as the skill and choice to tolerate discomfort and take brave action in the pursuit of racial equity. ▷ It’s the opposite of ‘white fragility:’ discomfort and defensiveness on the part of a white person when confronted by information about racial inequality and injustice (coined by Robin DiAngelo). 🚩 You cannot lead inclusively as a white leader if your racial resilience is low.🚩 Why? Because you won’t have the tools and skills to become the leader you can be.My passion for helping white leaders address this critical area of allyship led me to create the Courageous Leadership Initiative–a signature six-month coaching program that enables: ✅ More trust, productivity and wellbeing for you and your team✅ More authentic, collaborative work relationships✅ Better skill at interrupting systemic injustices and microaggressions✅ Better decision-making ✅ Less overwhelm and burnout 👉 Why Did I Create The Courageous Leadership Cultivator?⇨ Most white leaders doesn’t know that there are specific emotional and cognitive tools that can help them lead at a different level⇨ Unexamined racism gets in the way of courageous, connected and equitable leadership⇨ I want you to spend less time figuring out how to develop internal anti-racism tools than I did👉 As someone who’s been doing DEI work for 18 years (and specializing in helping white leaders show up for DEI for the past ten), I believe:▷ Dismantling white supremacy is everyone’s work and white people have a critical role to play▷ White people cannot effectively engage in (or sustain) genuine DEI initiatives without doing this work (this means that book clubs and protests are helpful, but not sufficient)✨ Let’s connect:It’s common for white people to feel uncomfortable (or even terrified) talking about race and racism. I want you to feel supported and safe to start this process:⇨ Send me a direct message to schedule a quick chat (15 mins) for me to understand your unique challenges as a white leader who cares about DEI⇨ You’ll walk away with one actionable strategy that you can put in place immediately to enhance your inclusive leadership

Listed skills include Public Speaking, Fundraising, Event Planning, Community Organizing, and 31 others.
