Responsible for providing training to candidates for field positions within the organization and preparing candidates to sucessfully complete certification requirements. Partner with Training Consultants and Instructional Designers to deliver effective training based upon organizational needs. Also responsible for conducting on-going evaluation of training programs and providing input to ensure accuracy and relevance of course content. Performs Operator Qualification evaluations on field personnel to ensure compliance with Federal guidlines. Coaches candidates and provides relevant feedback to supervisors regarding a candidates readiness to perform covered tasks.

Strategically steer all facets of designing, planning, coordinating/managing schedules and on-site operations for gas main and service installation projects for new residential and commercial clients throughout northern Illinois. Liaise between new customers, project contractors and city officials to design gas main and services for residential and commercial customers.

Consistently excelled in making informed, split-second decisions to ensure customer safety and system integrity. --Performed residential customer safety inspections; assessed residential homes to ensure compliance with National Fuel Gas Codes. --Calculated pressure requirements to meet specific client requirements. --Responded to emergency situations throughout Northern Illinois, including gas leaks, explosions, fire, floods, and natural disasters; first Nicor representative on-site to direct crews, determine root cause analysis, implement corrective action plans, control/contain further damage and communicate with community and police/fire departments.

Multi-functional financial, accounting and office coordinator role with oversight responsibility for company-wide back-office operations. --Directed total fiscal process and accounting governance: monthly financial statement preparation, inventory/bank reconciliations, fianancial analysis, sales taxes, title transfers and month/year-end closings. --Instrumental in the hiring, training and supervision of new/existing reception staff.
