As Director of People Operations and Engagement for one of the highest-rated professional services Firms in the mid-Atlantic region, I lead the Human Capital team which drives employee engagement. I direct a team which supports a growing Firm with over 300 employees and 35 partner level executives. In this dynamic, fast-paced business, each year brings new and different challenges which result in rich learning opportunities to provide tailored approaches for optimum results. Functions include, but are not limited to, DEI&B initiatives, employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, risk management & compliance, performance and compensation management, learning and development, volunteer outreach and communication strategy. Designed and implemented a community enrichment program (CSR) as part of corporate strategy Lead HR activities for acquisition of new companies Transitioned through change in Managing Partners Initiated health and wellness activities fostering a well-being culture. Implemented Rest & Relaxation week. Obtained “Fit-Friendly” recognition from the American Heart Association as well as Montgomery County's Flu Fighters Award 4 years running. Lead team in retention initiatives resulting in decreased turnover and the obtainment of the Washington Business Journal’s Best Places to Work Award in 2007 and 2008, 2012-2021 and Washington Post’s Top Workplace Award, 2014-2021 Employed new and innovative programs designed for multi-generational workforce.
