In high school, Probability and Statistics was my favorite math class and physics was my favorite science. When I began college, I chose computational physics. About a year later they launched the data science degree. I thought it looked like so much fun, and there was a lot of overlap with classes I had already taken for the computational part of my major. I decided to get the data science certificate, then the minor, and finally to accept that I liked data science more. Now I'm a data science major with a computer science minor. I enjoy finding patterns and purpose in data.
