- Implemented many foundational ML algorithms from the ground up, including neural networks, simulated annealing, PCA, softmax regression, gradient descent, A* search, decision trees. Kalman filters, particle filters, and bayes nets. Applied the models to simulated environments (i.e. racing a car around a track) and real world datasets (i.e. chess ELO estimation).
