www.mtw.org/beanWith over five years of experience as a foreign missionary serving indigenous and international local churches, and in ministry since 2001, I have a passion for planting and strengthening biblically faithful churches in Europe and beyond. I work with Mission to the World, the global mission agency of the Presbyterian Church in America, and our partnering denomination in the field, the International Presbyterian Church (IPC). After serving in London in international outreach at IPC-Ealing for 2 1/2 years, a dynamic local church with members from over 45 nationalities in West London, we are moving to a new MTW-IPC partnership with even greater needs for gospel engagement, serving as Interim Pastor for Faith Community Church IPC in Prague, Czech Republic. Nicknamed "The Heart of Europe" Prague is both the birthplace of the Protestant Reformation, and today is the capital and largest city of the most Atheist nation in the world.My core competencies include cross-cultural ministry, pastoral theology, interpersonal skills, and ministry to young adults, which I apply in my role as pastor at Faith Community Church. I partner with the church leadership and congregation in their ongoing outreach and discipleship among Czechs and International emigrants and expats living in the Czech Republic's capital and largest city.I am an ordained minister with a Master of Divinity degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in Saint Louis, four units of Clinical Pastoral Education from the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, as well as further graduate studies in church-planting at London Seminary, and Cross-Cultural Missions training from Mission Training International and Concilium.
