My name is Dawson Martin. I am a Quality Control Inspector at the Okonite Company in Richmond, Kentucky. In this role, I perform a multi-point quality check and package Okonite Cable products, ensuring the best quality for our customers. I have six years of certified experience with AutoDesk Inventor, as well as one year of experience with SolidWorks CAD. I also have four years of experience with power tools in an educational wood shop environment as well as one year of experience running a metal lathe, milling machine, and a Hurco VM1 CNC machine in an educational environment. I have experience operating a Hurco DCX42i CNC Machining Center in a production setting. I graduated from Madison Southern High School with a 4.2 GPA, ranking me in the top 15 in my class of nearly 300 students. I also graduated with 12 college credit hours. I have 4 months of experience working in an automotive glass factory. I have customer service experience from being a cashier as well as a sales associate at Lowe's. I held a forklift and narrow aisle reach truck operator license during my time with Lowe's.
