I spent a year getting out of my comfort zone by moving to China to learn Chinese and live somewhere other than the East Coast USA.In this role, I taught English weekly to 20 classes of 50 students in a public elementary school in Shenzhen. I created a curriculum, defined lesson plans, and managed classrooms in both English and Mandarin.
