A cultural leader that ensures the most optimal learning environment is provided through coaching, mentoring and strategic planning.

The Executive Project will serve at risk urban youth from Chicago and surrounding areas. EP will lead our youth through a rigorous business skill development program. The program will teach, but not limited to, acquiring internships with local entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 companies, how to properly compose a resume and cover letter and the art of professional etiquette. The Executive Project will not only focus on entrepreneurship, the EP will also seek to increase the enrollment of students entering college through college tours, FAFSA preparation, scholarship retrieval and mentors.

• Supervises a staff of 40 teacher and 20 instructional support personnel • Participates in weekly Instructional Leadership Team meetings to discuss classroom competencies and student interventions• Develop and administer NWEA testing for the Fall, Winter and Spring• Conducts classroom observations and provided timely feedback to teachers as it pertains to instructional and classroom management strategies to help improve instruction and academic success• Collaborates with a team of administrators to provide instructional strategies to help produce student achievement• Develop and implement instructional professional development based on teacher data• Supports full implementation of a comprehensive behavioral support program and restorative discipline program• Responsible for managing/coordinating all attendance-related tasks using an internet-based Student Information System (SIM). • Create attendance procedures to ensure attendance and enrollments are up-to-date, free from error, and creatively implement student based attendance interventions.• Leads weekly leadership meetings to ensure accountability and that developed goals are met• Develop systems, to ensure lesson plans are turned and teachers receive timely and effective feedback• Lead weekly meetings with Deans & Security Supervisor to develop their skills, discuss updates and collectively solve issues• Coordinate and manage logistical supports and internal business processes as needed (i.e. Student Fees, Orientation Implementation, Open House, etc…)• Orders and purchases materials and supplies needed for implementation of excellent programs
