About David Klein
I lead WEX Venture Capital, the $100M venture capital arm of WEX (NYSE: WEX). We are investing in startups addressing the energy transition in mobility. https://vc.wexinc.com/Prior to joining WEX, I founded Parade, a Y Combinator-backed company that served over 5,000 startups. I spent four years as a Product Manager at General Assembly, where I built a new business unit that led to the company’s acquisition in 2018, and also helped Strava overhaul it’s freemium model in 2019 to triple revenue and reach a $1.5B valuation the following year. I began my career in consulting before transitioning into tech while working at Techstars. During that time I also led the New York City chapter of House of Genius, a volunteer organization that helps entrepreneurs solve business challenges. I have an MBA from Harvard Business School and an economics degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
