I am the Head of Knowledge, Data, and Research at the Lemann Foundation, located in São Paulo, Brazil, where I lead a multidisciplinary team focused on monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, and knowledge production. We work together with the Foundation's impact teams and our ecosystem partners to mobilize data and evidence for the continuous improvement of our strategies and results.Throughout my career, I have always sought to work for the public interest, which led me in the late 1990s to the Third Sector (doing advocacy and project management at the Abrinq Foundation and Ethos Institute for Business and Social Responsibility), and later to government (in advisory and coordination positions at the São Paulo City Hall, City Council, and São Paulo State Government, including a period as a public servant in the career of Analyst of Public Policy and Government Management - APPGG), and also to academia (culminating in a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Government from EAESP-FGV, with a sandwich period in 2014-15, through a CAPES-Fulbright scholarship, at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University in New York City).Between 2017 and 2020, I was the Deputy Secretary of Education for the city of São Paulo, supporting the implementation of structural reforms such as the City Curriculum, the resumption of the São Paulo Exam, the expansion of early chilhood daycare centers, and the digital transformation of the Department.
