North Midlands Project is a not-for-profit community strengthening organisation working towards regional Western Australia to be known for its happy, healthy communities and vibrant, liveable towns. We work across Amangu, Badymia, Widi and Yued countries in Carnamah, Coorow, Eneabba, Leeman, Mingenew, Morawa, Perenjori and Three Springs; and also deliver activities on Southern Yamatji country in Geraldton, where we operate under the name of The Geraldton Project. Since 2023 we have broadened our reach co-delivering real-time community-strengthening programs across regional Western Australia with arts/health organisations and local governments.I am responsible for strategic direction, building partnerships and the operational execution of the organisation's 20-year strategic plan. I lead and work with the organisation's delivery team, Management Committee, Regional Advisory Board, and Artistic, Cultural & Wellness Directors to design, deliver and evaluate over 300 culture, arts and health activities each year. Our programs engage with thousands of people with a focus on further building the livability, vibrancy and mental health and well-being of people living in regional Western Australia.Inaugural Executive Director of the organisation until mid-2023 and then transitioned to Executive Co-Chair.

With more than 80,000 team members, they operate a network of more than 1,650 offices and laboratories in 140 countries.In my role I recommended and implemented effective communication and innovation strategies to support company-wide organisational and culture change, educate and engage employees, and promote HR’s value to the business. Partnered with business leaders as well as global, regional and country HR managers to develop HR communication and innovation strategies and ensure alignment across the globe.

Developed, communicated and drove an effective governance framework for learning and organisational development across SGS Australia; and strengthened the evaluated process between business objectives and employee needs. Also managed the South East Asia Pacific Learning & Development knowledge sharing platform to strengthen relationships and champion best practice.

Led a multi-disciplinary team providing effective business support for improved planning, reporting and management of core business and quality processes. Improved business related processes and service delivery to enable clinical and administrative support teams to provide expertise and effective service to donor centres. Played a key role in leading a national change group to identify support and administrative work currently undertaken that could be improved or centralised.

Effectively positioned and managed Save the Children's state retail social enterprise for growth within the Western Australia marketplace and supported state fundraising activities.

Contributed to the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of multiple health promotions in different outreach settings in order to reduce the transmission of HIV and STIs. Also provided peer-based advice services to clients, referals to appropriate support services, and offered risk minimisation strategies and guidance.

Managed the UK Merchant Group International team to deliver the outcomes set from the company's strategic plan within timelines and budgets. Liaised directly with the board, external stakeholders, service and supply providers to build key relationships; and managed corporate legislative and financial compliance reporting to the stock exchange.

Repositioned and managed the national benefits team for 160,000 team members; and supported the HR resourcing strategy in the attraction and retention of team members by improving team culture through benefit and cohesion programs.

Developed and managed benefit and cohesion programs for team members to improve team culture supporting Coles Myer's "employer of choice" HR strategy.

Recruited and inducted WA office and store-based positions maintaining company policy and procedures.
