I have well over 35 + years of professional experience working at various levels supporting Information Technology and Radio Communication Systems providing on-site and remote site installation, preventive maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, and repair expertise specializing in both commercial and military satellite communications and extending that transport via various long-haul and local networking equipment. I have over 15 years of specialized Data Center installation, maintenance and facility management experience that required a broad spectrum of expertise in Information Technologies, Strategic Communications Networks, Physical Security Systems, Environmental Systems (Chiller/HVAC), Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS), Primary Power Switching Systems with supporting Power Generator. I am currently providing Satellite/Network engineering contract support to our supported customer performing system user training, planning and procedural guidance support for several deployable satellite communications system that extend enterprise domain services to remote locations, as required for mission support. I provide maintenance and troubleshooting support for all associated hub and spoke communications and network equipment that provide these remote services to the warfighter. I provide network configuration support as required to support various network access services in a dynamically fluid and constantly changing environment.I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Network Security from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC). I am currently enrolled in a graduate program in Information Technology, specializing in Information Assurance from UMUC. I hold current professional IT certifications from CompTIA (Security +, Network +, A+, and Server +), Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), GVF SATCOM Professional, and ITIL v.3. I will pursue additional IT professional certifications as my career path requires or needs.
