Major Projects-North Mara Grid Connection Project (Tanzania, 2009-2010): Design and Commissioning for the connection of the North Mara Power station to the TANESCO transmission network. Development of an automatic power restoration and load shedding scheme to minimise down-time as a result of grid outages.-TANESCO Grid Stability Project (Tanzania 2009): Commissioning of a Static Var Compensator (SVC) and Fixed Series Compensators (FSC) onto the TANESCO 220kV transmission network. Monitoring and analysis of power quality across the network.-Mt Keith Power Station Upgrade (WA, 2009): Design and commissioning of protection scheme, and voltage control scheme.-Argyle Diamonds Fault Level Investigation (2008): Study of the fault levels at the Argyle Diamond Power station due to forecast increase in load demand - analysis of different generation scenarios and fault level mitigating options.-Argyle Diamonds Power Station Control System Upgrade (2007-2008) *Nominated for Engineers Australia Excellence Awards September 2008: Design and commissioning of a digital power station control scheme. Implementation of secondary voltage and frequency control schemes to meet technical requirements of East Kimberley network.-Argyle Diamonds Control System Upgrade and Load Shedding Project (2008): Design and commissioning of a load shedding scheme.-Porgera Gas Turbine Project (Papua New Guinea, 2008-2009): Design for upgrade to power station switchgear and control system to accommodate an additional gas-turbine generator. Design of Gas turbine protection scheme.-Porgera Capacitor Bank and Transmission Line Optimisation (Papua New Guinea, 2008-2009): System analysis, design and commissioning of capacitor bank and control scheme to optimise power transfer across the 132kV transmission line.-Syama Gold Project (Mali, 2008): Design and commissioning of power station control and protection scheme.-Tulawaka Power Station Upgrade (Tanzania, 2008)
