As Curator, I prepare an exhibition schedule of 8 to 10 exhibits a year for CUBE SPACE and 6 to 8 exhibits per year for the 1947 Center Street Lobby. I promote the Galleries by writing press releases to be submitted to the City for approval regarding exhibits and provide instructions to Artists regarding their invitation announcements. Additional responsibilities include: maintaining a resource list of artists for the Civic Arts Commission; solicitation, review and selection of artist proposals; regular meetings with the Civic Arts Commission and Coordinator to provide summaries and schedules of exhibitions; oversight of preparation of exhibition spaces; supervision of installation and de-installation; approval of designs for announcement cards; and maintenance of exhibition records, artistic biographic materials, and exhibition summaries for archival purposes.
