About Daniel Carpenter

With 18 years of experience in the heritage and arts sector, I am passionate about preserving and promoting traditional craft skills as a vital part of the UK's cultural heritage and a source of wellbeing and creativity. As the Executive Director of Heritage Crafts, the national charity and UNESCO-accredited NGO for Intangible Cultural Heritage, I lead on strategic development, fundraising and advocacy for the organisation, working with a diverse range of stakeholders, partners and beneficiaries. I am a Trustee of Arts & Heritage, an Ambassador of The Fathom Trust and a judge for the Global Eco Artisan Awards.
