I did similar work at this facility as previously, however was trained on the administration of various pharmaceuticals to residents as well. This entailed understanding the various allergic reactions and timing of administration of certain medicines to residents. I was required to keep immaculate organization of these medications, as the wrong medication could have life threatening consequences to the wrong person.

As a CNA I provided cares for those in the memory care unit. Through my experience I was able to see how the progression of dementia is unique to each individual and difficult for every family. This required patience and understanding of how mental states change with disease. Since each resident presented symptoms differently, I had to tailor care to each one to their specific needs.

Westminster Campus

Supervised the stocking and sale of beverages and food for Westminster's concession stands during sporting events. This required coordination with our food service team and corporate partners in making sure that there was enough product to sell at each event.

Greater Salt Lake City Area

I provided reading and math assistance to youth from 1st to 6th grade at Hawthorn Elementary school. I worked with teachers in designing lesson plans and individual strategies for students who were struggling with these subjects in class. I strived to create an engaging learning environment for these students to further their knowledge by understanding the diverse challenges that kids may face outside of school that influence their ability to learn.
