I am a licensed School Counselor in the states of Colorado and Michigan. I earned my Master's in School Counseling at Eastern Michigan University. Currently, I am working as a High School Counselor in Greeley, Colorado.My passion for helping others is driven by work experiences, my interest in differing perspectives, and the importance of mental health. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Augsburg University with a Bachelor's in Psychology, and a minor in Spanish. While in undergrad I worked with at-risk youth in an internship setting, helping them manage their anger, become more aware of their emotions, and creating and leading activities to bolster their emotional regulation skills.
